Z axis servo alarm:motor is overload alarm
Siemens system servo alarm.
Panel shows:024201 Axis Z driver fault
Driver shows:5-LA22
It shows motor overload alarm.
Possible reason,
1 Ball screw nut is stuck.
2 Slider damaged,stuck
Solution,
1 check the exterior
A whether between nuts have something dirty.Please clean asap if have.
B Please check nut whether damaged.Please contact with after sales if yes.
C Please check whether slider have something dirty.Please clean asap if have.
D Please check whether slider damaged,Please contact with after sales if yes.
E Please check nut if stay at the end of ball screw(the most up position or the most down position).If nut stay the end of ball screw,please move the belt,let nut reverse rotation manual,let it stay away from the end position.Rotation ball screw manual,check if ball screw and nut drive smoothly
F. The motorbrake not let go,then the motor over load.
1)Check the motorbrake have an output 24V DC?
a.IF have not 24VDC in here, then check if broken brake wire
B. If brake wire not broken, then check driver B+, B- if broken.
c. One possible, the multimeter scree 24VDC,maybe the plug poor contact. Turn off power and fix it. If still not working, the conclude the spindle broken.
